Bizzy Fall
In September, I shot my first medical training video. It was for the CDC and I played a doctor counseling several people about infectious diseases. We shot at EMORY UNIVERSITY’s Nurse Training Wing, so we were in an authentic environment and it was one of the hardest jobs I’ve had as an actor. Dialogue changed frequently in the middle of a scene and I now have enormous respect for those actors who can memorize and spit out the words minutes later!
Auditions picked up mid-September, but I had enough free time that I started volunteering for THE ACLU GEORGIA. They are a great group of people doing very important work.
October and November brought auditions for the tv shows COUNCIL OF DADS and DOOM PATROL. I’ve read for both shows several times and hopefully I’m coming closer to actually booking one of them!
Also at the beginning of November, the casting folks at SNAPPED reached out and offered me the lead in the episode they were getting ready to shoot. (This time my character didn’t actually commit the murder, but was responsible for bringing about her husband’s premature demise.) The show shoots in Knoxville, TN and they put me up in a very nice hotel for three nights, which always feels like a mini-vacation to me. I especially liked director CHAD CUNNINGHAM and hope I get the chance to work with him again.
Since SNAPPED blurs faces, you won’t see me clearly, but the first episode I did airs either DECEMBER 1st or the 8th. Look for the title where the lead’s first name is HOPE. Not sure when the episode I just shot airs, but it will probably be in Spring. I’ll post here once I find out.
Thanks for reading and I wish you and yours a very
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
