Winter is Here

It is mid-December and David and I are very happy in our new townhome in Georgia. We loved our first year+ in midtown Atlanta, but we are even happier being a little further out of all the action. Our tree is up and we are ready for the Holidays. And we moved just at the right time because over the last month or so, I have been very busy auditioning for various tv shows, commercials, and features. Busier than I’ve ever been. Having more space, including a separate room dedicated to self-taping, has made life much easier.

My episode of DEAD SILENT, “OUT IN THE STICKS,” will air on the INVESTIGATION DISCOVERY CHANNEL this coming Thursday, December 20th at 9pm. If you want to see it sooner - and without commercials - you can watch it right now On Demand. My scenes appear later in the episode (28:15 & 41:20 On Demand; 37:15 & 52:10 broadcast with commercials). It was a very difficult part - I played the mother of a young woman who was brutally murdered. Given that it is a true story and happened only two short years ago, it was very important to me to give as honest and respectful a portrayal as I could manage. I cannot truly begin to know what Heather’s mother and her family went through, and what they still go through. It is heartbreaking and I am so sorry for their terrible loss.
