March-ing On!
I’ve been so busy lately, I haven’t had time to update here.
I’m currently working on two developing plays - the first is a one-woman show that I’m writing and will be performing entitled, SECRETS THAT YOU KEEP. Although it is a work of fiction, it is based on true events. That’s all I can say for now as it is in its infancy, but I am so excited about telling this powerful story. The other play is about prominent American women entitled, “SHE'S HISTORY!” by AMY SIMON. It brings to life American women who were, and are, pivotal in the struggle for equality - a struggle that continues to this day.
We’re still in pre-production on the wonderful short film, “TIME CATCHER,” written & directed by KIMBERLY JENTZEN. I’m so fortunate to be assisting with getting it made, as well as acting in it. I have a great, fun part playing an Irish Innkeeper in Texas, circa 1876. We are moving forward and hope to be shooting by early summer.
In my spare time (eh-hem), I’m house managing an amazing play called VERDIGRIS at THEATRE WEST. It is written by the hugely-talented JIM BEAVER, who stars in it as well, and is helmed by genius director, MARK TRAVIS. The show is getting Standing Ovations every night. Come see it if you are in LA! (Fri & Sat @ 8p, Sun at 2p. Closes April 19th).
