February – Off to a Good Start!

Last night, David and I saw HAIL, CAESAR! in an executive screening room on the lot at Universal. We were lucky to be invited by our wonderful friend FRANK WILLIAMS. During the “Merrily We Dance” sequence, I can be seen VERY briefly on the left side of the screen as Hobey (ALDEN ENRENREICH) enters the room. A reverse shows his POV of the actors waiting for him on set. I’m in a beautiful teal-colored dress designed and built by the amazing MARY ZOPHRES (look at my PHOTO GALLERY for pictures). Alden is a terrific actor and I will make a prediction right now - he is headed for Stardom! The guy can act, is good looking, and has loads of charisma. He damn near steals the movie. He and RALPH FIENNES are great together and it is my favorite scene in the movie.

Yesterday, I also found out that I am “On Avail” for a national tv commercial. I had a couple of really fun auditions and am just so excited to have made it this far in the process. I’ve had callbacks before, but never taken the next step. So, as much as I would love to be cast, just getting this far is a victory and I’m savoring it

In the meantime, I’m happily rehearsing THE LEATHER APRON CLUB, which opens April 22, 2016 at THEATRE WEST in Los Angeles. It runs for four weeks, closing May 15th. Try to see it if you can!
