2022 So Far

Like most of you, 2022 has been a mixed bag for me. I’ll mostly stick to the high (rather than low) lights because who can’t use brighter lights these days.

In a Nutshell:

  • Shot commercial/print job for a lending company called THE SIGNATRY

  • Shot Lifetime feature BAD NANNY

  • Started learning to play piano and brush up on my French

  • Attended protest rally in support of Ukraine

  • Had two short stories published in the OUTSIDE IN book series: REST IN PAIN (“Outside Walks With Fire” Twin Peaks) and NOSTALGIA (“Outside Wants To Believe” Millenium). My first time being published was made even sweeter as it was alongside my husband, writer David R. George III (Look for updates for one more Outside In story from each of us in 2023!)

  • Shot a TRAINING VIDEO for an Atlanta real estate company

  • Sold our townhouse & bought our (hopefully) forever home

  • My scene in THE FIRST LADY aired

  • Embarked on a two-week Southern Belle Road-trip with my sister Colleen Ragan (Birmingham, Tupelo, Memphis, Nashville, Richmond, Wilmington, Charleston, Savannah)

  • Shot print job for DOMINO’S PIZZA (to be used online and in stores)

  • Watched all of the January 6th hearings… ugh

  • Saw several wonderful plays presented by The Marietta Theatre Company

  • Shot TELL SOMEBODY NOW, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity’s Womens’ Rights PSA for HBCUs. Debuted on MSNBC’s SYMONE. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veiLWZQYgbA (Spot begins at 2:52) I am so proud to be a part of this PSA.

  • Decided to take a break from acting to settle our new home, help with family needs, etc., but…

    I’ll be back at it again in 2023!
